Physics 11 - Current ELectricity
This unit looks at the current electricity and circuit analysis
At the end of the unit you should be able to:
- calculate the current in a circuit using Ohms Law
- calculate the power that a circuit element (like a resistor) consumes
- calculate the total resistance of series, parallel, and combination circuits
- apply Kirchoffs Loop and Junction laws to calculate voltage and current in complex circuits
- trouble shoot basic DC electrical circuits that you need assemble
- describe what fuses and circuit breakers do and why we use them
